Four months has passed since our wee girl, Daisy, wriggled her way into the world. It was quite a long journey full of adventure. Overcome with curiosity, she went sight-seeing on her way out, getting herself a little lost before eventually emerging some 2 1/2 days after her journey began. Some wonderful people helped her on her journey. We strongly believe that it takes a village to raise a child and in this case, it also took a village to get this babe out!
We hope life will just be one big adventure for Daisy. There will be some serious stuff to deal with no doubt, but we hope that she will be overcome with curiosity, passion, love and kindness for people, animals and nature, all over this incredible world.
Bicycles have taken us to many places; World Championship races on the other side of the world, to work everyday, around the university campus…on explorations of overgrown tracks used by horse coaches in days gone by. Maybe Daisy will love riding, maybe she won’t.
These days, bicycling is slower and close to home, with Daisy in tow, cruising in her (Thule) Chariot.
